## Who it is for

Vehicle inspectors documenting multiple vehicles, including teams working in ports.

## The operational problem

A photograph of visible damage is useful only when the reviewer can identify the vehicle and inspection it belongs to.

## Camera input

Phone or portable-camera photographs of a vehicle’s VIN and visible condition during an inspection.

## System workflow

Proposed workflow: capture the identification view, associate condition photographs with that vehicle, then present the record for an inspector to review.

## Operator output

The intended output is a vehicle record with its associated photographs and inspection context.

## Human responsibility

The inspector checks the vehicle identity, image quality and visible condition. The responsible person makes the condition assessment.

## Current status

OSMUS’s application is proposed. AIS has developed a related mobile capture module that links VIN and condition photographs to a vehicle and inspector; field use is not confirmed.
