Illustrative imagery · AI-generated

## Who it is for

Helicopter crews and the coordinators reviewing observations during a search.

## The operational problem

A possible finding in difficult terrain needs to be reviewed with enough context to guide the next decision.

## Camera input

Observations from a helicopter-mounted camera in the search environment.

## System workflow

Proposed workflow: collect the aerial observation, preserve the original view and add the context needed for a crew or coordinator to review it.

## Operator output

The intended output is the original aerial imagery and associated review context for a possible finding.

## Human responsibility

The crew and coordinators verify what the imagery shows and decide how to direct the response.

## Current status

A proposed OSMUS application. The illustrative helicopter film does not establish person detection, aircraft integration or a deployed rescue system.
